SRP Elections 7 April 2026

The SRP are conducting mail-in elections for both their power and water boards. The choices are the same, so I show here only my power ballot.

There is a structural flaw here that will eventually cause the SRP to become yet another left-wing organization. Leftists run only the number of candidates needed, while conservatives cannot resist running against each other. Races go to the winner by plurality, so the leftists regularly win where conservatives split the vote. After the 2022 election, I speculated here, that the second conservative candidate had malicious intent, but I think now that flattery is sufficient. I will wager that Casey Clowes wins the race for vice president with less than a majority of the vote.
